Irena’s Presentation:
“Beyond Reasonable Doubt: The Pascagoula Alien Abduction”
Meeting Re-Cap:
Dr. Scott’s presentation was a surprise reveal of her newest book co-written by Philip Mantle, “Beyond Reasonable Doubt: The Pascagoula Alien Abduction”.
The Pascagoula incident represents one of the most compelling, extensively witnessed, and thoroughly documented extraterrestrial abduction cases in historical records. This marked Northland MUFON’s inaugural presentation on this significant event, which proved highly engaging.
The occurrence transpired on October 11, 1973, along a fishing pier on the Pascagoula River in Mississippi. Charles Hickson and Calvin Parker were engaged in nocturnal fishing when they observed a blue luminous phenomenon emanating from an egg-shaped craft. Following a brilliant flash of light, three entities materialized. These beings exhibited unprecedented characteristics—appearing mechanical with rubbery, elephant-skin-textured exoskeletons and anomalous conical protrusions substituting for facial features. Two entities apprehended Charles while the third detained Calvin. Despite their paralysis, both individuals remained conscious.
A married couple fishing across the river witnessed the extraordinary event but struggled to discern the specific circumstances. Subsequently, this couple developed their own remarkable account, detailed in Dr. Scott’s book.
On this same night, the local sheriff department took over 50 calls about UFOs, including two priests who walked right into the department to report what they’d seen along with several law enforcement officers.
Hickson and Parker immediately reported their experience, and the consensus was they were being truthful. They were interviewed by none other than J. Allen Hynek and Dr. James Harder from UCLA who came to that same conclusion.
On November 8, 1973 the US Navy detailed an investigation into the sighting of a USO, also in the Pascagoula River. The USO appeared to be a large circular underwater light, approximately 15’ in diameter. Men in small boats were able to maneuver to the light with one man thumping it with an oar. He described it as having a “metallic sound”.
This historic even just gets weirder and weirder, including its close proximity to Huntington Ingalls Industry, which built the Nimitz Carrier Strike Group that supplied the infamous Tic-Tac videos. The USS Princeton has highly important radar and camera images that have been essential to current disclosure information. In light of this, there is of course a national security aspect to all of this just as with the Malmstrom AFB in Montana and the Minot, North Dakota incident.

Michael Schratt (private pilot/military aerospace historian) has lectured across the country on the unique subject of “Mystery Aircraft”, and classified propulsion systems buried deep within the military industrial complex. A guest speaker at the “OSHKOSH” AirVenture 2006/2007 event, (world’s largest air show), Michael has developed a number of contacts which have had first hand experience dealing classified “black programs”, including former USAF pilots, retired Naval personnel, and aerospace engineers that have maintained a TOP SECRET SCI (Sensitive Compartmented Information) clearance. In an effort to expose government fraud, waste and abuse, Michael devotes much of his free time researching aerospace technical documents, conducting interviews, and travelling to multiple University archives. As a concerned citizen, it’s his belief that it is our Constitutional obligation to question authority, and demand an accounting of special access programs that bypass congressional oversight and public scrutiny.

Matthew’s Bio:
Matthew Kellison is a Field Investigator for MUFON Florida and member of the Experiencer Resource Team (ERT). He retired from the U.S. Coast Guard in 2017 after 30-years of service and holds a Master of Science degree in Aviation and Aerospace Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Technology from Purdue University. He is an NTSB trained / USCG certified Aviation Accident Investigator, holds an FAA Airframe & Powerplant certification and is also an Aircraft Vibration Analyst. Matt enjoys beekeeping, SCUBA diving, fishing, cycling and has a lifelong fascination with Ufology and the unexplained.

Preston Dennett is the 5th of 6 children. He moved to California from Illinois with his family and was raised in Topanga Canyon, in southern California. He has worked as a carpet cleaner, landscaper, fast-food cook, data-entry clerk, bookkeeper, teacher, lecturer, actor, writer, singer, television consultant, ghost hunter, out-of-body explorer, UFO investigator and more. He has written more than 30 nonfiction books and more than 100 articles about UFOs and the paranormal, and more than 40 speculative fiction stories. In 2018 he won second place in the Writers of The Future Contest (Quarter 1, volume 35). He currently resides on Earth in an undisclosed location surrounded by forest. Bob’s Bio:
Robert W. McGwier, Ph.D., known as “Science Bob,” is a research scientist, entrepreneur, and academic leader who loves exploring applied mathematics, signal processing, and wireless systems. He received his Ph.D. from Brown University and spent 30 years at the Institute for Defense Analyses’ Center for Communications Research. From 2011 to 2020, he was the Chief Scientist at the Hume Center at Virginia Tech and taught at the ECE, Mathematics, and Aerospace Engineering departments. He also started Federated Wireless and Hawkeye 360, helped out with GNU Radio and DttSP, guided over 50 graduate students, and won several national intelligence and technical awards. Plus, he’s part of the Visible College and Skywatcher LLC. Robert has teamed up with some interesting people who have had amazing experiences, and he’s been helping them look into these cases scientifically. McGwier is particularly notable in ufology for his pioneering application of Artificial Intelligence to UAP detection, his leadership of the UAP Tracking Network, Inc., and his public disclosure of multiple Unidentified Submerged Object (USO) encounters while conducting classified operations aboard U.S. Navy submarines during his 27-year tenure serving the intelligence community.

Originally from Illinois, Dave Schrader has been a resident of Minnesota since 1988 when he attended Winona State College and fell in love with the beauty and people of this great state. The Honorable Tim Gallaudet, PhD, Rear Admiral, U.S. Navy (ret)
Tim Gallaudet is a career oceanographer and technology consultant. Formerly, he served as the acting Undersecretary and Assistant Secretary of Commerce, acting and Deputy Administrator of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), and Oceanographer of the Navy. Currently, Gallaudet serves as a strategic advisor and board member for several startups, nonprofits, and research institutions in the ocean, weather, environment, and space sectors. Gallaudet has had a lifelong interest in UAP, but his experience as the Superintendent of the U.S. Naval Observatory gave him a greater appreciation for their scientific validity. He now is a research affiliate for Harvard University’s Galileo Project and an Advisory Board member for Americans for Safe Aerospace, the Disclosure Foundation, and the Sol Foundation. As a member of the White House Ocean Research Advisory Panel, Gallaudet is seeking to elevate the scientific study of undersea and transmedium UAP to a national research priority. He is a fellow at The Explorer’s Club, a distinguished graduate of the University of California, San Diego, and a recipient of the U.S. Coast Guard Distinguished Public Service Award. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the U.S. Naval Academy, as well as master’s and doctoral degrees from Scripps Institution of Oceanography. His book about leading NOAA during President Trump’s first term, Holding Fast in Heavy Seas: Leadership For Turbulent Times, will be published on July 7.
