Yes! Ufology is a Subject Academics Should be Researching!
Meet Matthew Hayes: A PhD that dared to complete his Doctorate with a Dissertation on the History of UFOs in Canada.
I’m an educator, researcher, and filmmaker.
Dr. Hayes teaches philosophy, politics, English, and ethics at Northern Lakes College. He received his PhD from Trent University and held a SSHRC Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Western Ontario. He studies conspiracy theories, pseudoscience, “cranks,” UFOs and the supernatural, and Cold War espionage.
My doctoral research was featured on CBC Radio’s Ideas, which became the subject of my book Search for the Unknown.

“A Conversation with Avi Loeb”

The June 21st presentation by Dr. Avi Loeb on behalf of Northland MUFON would have been a good one to attend. Chances are, if you live in northern Minnesota it would have been too hot to be outside and if you didn’t lose power in the big storm the night before you really have no excuse.
Dr. Loeb is the teacher we all wish we had in college. Not only is he highly intelligent, he is also clever, engaging and humorous. Dr. Loeb is determined to prove there are more beings in the universe than just us humans. He is known for looking in places that have been overlooked for decades by other organizations. For instance, Dr. Loeb is responsible for the Silver Star expedition where a magnetic sled was dragged across the ocean bottom. Why you ask? Because the ocean bottom is not magnetic but the meteorites from space likely ARE composed of iron and are therefore magnetic. If anything can pass through our atmosphere without being damaged, it must be of a material that can survive extreme temperatures on entry. It turns out he was correct, and the molten spheres collected contain much more than iron – they contain materials not found on Earth. You can read more about this here.
He also raised questions about the anomalous behavior of the meteor Oumuamua (Hawaiian word for Scout). You can read more about this here.

The Rubin Observatory in Chile will be sharing the first images of space with their new camera, the largest of its kind in the world. This will begin Monday, June 23rd at 10:00 am CST. Avi’s Bio:
Abraham “Avi” Loeb is an Israeli and American theoretical physicist who works on astrophysics and cosmology. Loeb is the Frank B. Baird Jr. Professor of Science at Harvard University, where since 2007 he has been Director of the Institute for Theory and Computation at the Center for Astrophysics. Loeb is a fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, the American Physical Society, and the International Academy of Astronautics. In 2015, he was appointed as the science theory director for the Breakthrough Initiatives of the Breakthrough Prize Foundation. In 2018, he suggested that alien space craft may be in our Solar System, using the interstellar object ʻOumuamua as an example.

My abbreviated autobiography by Joe Swenson. I know that this will be like Science Fiction. If I included other information, it would read like a horror story. What is written is my true story of being a Lab Rat for the military. As a Lab Rat, you are not told what experiments you are a participant in. If you are lucky, you will find out later.
Top Secret projects are in the black budget. Above top-secret projects are compartmentalized. “Above Black” projects are hidden in compartmentalized projects. One of my projects was above that in that I was listed as MIA in Viet Nam.
My 50-year NDA allowed me to talk about information I knew was publicly available. I did a lot of research before my NDA expired. There are still things that I do not feel comfortable speaking about in public. They are not in this book.
I have included reference material after my short stories that take up about half of this book for those that wish to investigate further.
Humans are not alone. Our existence is a very small part of a universe where infinite diversity in infinite combinations appears to be the rule. What we can perceive is a very small fraction of true reality. Thought travels faster than light.

“In 2023 Dana Louise printed her memoir about the multilayered experiences which began for her in the crib. Months later she gave a talk to her local Mufon branch in New Brighton, MN. Four months after that she received a phone call from (how she terms it) “A mysterious man with a ‘Baloney sandwich’ story.” She knew immediately who and what he was, even if she didn’t confront him about those facts. Dana fully believes that this man discovered her and came forward because of her talk with Mufon. They met in person and he handed over a file about her father. This was full confirmation of everything she suspected! Just to let you know, she wishes she had more time to speak to you today! Because she has a lot to say!”

“Dana Louise is a wife, and mother of two sons. She lives in St Paul MN and has worn many hats over the decades. Her PAST includes: A finalist on Norwegian Reality Show “ALT FOR NORGE,” a food-truck owner, a Death Doula, Reiki Master Teacher, Minister, TFT level II Practitioner, and more. Bill Konkolesky has been the State Director of the Michigan Chapter of the Mutual UFO Network since 2004.
After a lifetime of his own UFO and abduction encounters, he’s spent the last three decades actively investigating these otherworldly phenomena, trying to make some sense of the bizarre events that have happened to him personally. What he’s discovered confronting these cosmic mysteries is that reality is far stranger than he could have ever imagined.
Konkolesky is the author of the autobiographical “Experiencer: Raised in Two Worlds” as well the newly released “Experiencer: Two Worlds Collide,” and his personal abduction experiences have been chronicled in the SyFy documentary “Abduction Diaries,” streaming documentary “Abducted by Aliens: UFO Encounters of the 4th Kind,” and the ABC news special “UFOs: Seeing is Believing.”

Jim’s Bio:
Jim Penniston, USAF Security Forces/Retired.
He entered the Air Force in 1973 and served over twenty years active duty in the US Air Force. He was assigned to the Strategic Air Command Elite Guard in Omaha Nebraska, providing security for General Officers, Congressmen, Foreign Heads of States, and the President and members of his Cabinet. Penniston held key assignments throughout the world. Including service in Desert Shield and Desert Storm. He wrote defense, security, counter-terrorism, and contingency plans for the USAF and NATO. Additionally, he provided security support for Air Force One, and other classified aircraft weapon systems. Penniston held for the majority of his twenty year career, a U.S. TOP SECRET/BI/SCI and a NATO TOP SECRET COSMIC/ATOMAL security clearance. Sergeant Penniston and his team were “First Responders” to a security investigation of a craft-of-unknown-origin, located just outside RAF Woodbridge, England. In December 1980 that case, is known as the Rendlesham Forest Incident, and is the most documented account in military history. Jim is a frequent lecturer and presenter at numerous MUFON and other related events and conferences of similar subject matter. A speaker at two National Press Club events; His first responder’s account of the Rendlesham Forest Incident has been featured worldwide on numerous television and radio programs. In addition, Penniston is an Author and has been a contributor to other books concerning this phenomenon.

On September 16, 2017 Sev Tok’s life changed. The secret she had been hiding for 45 years exposed itself. The reality of her life-long ET Contact could no longer remain hidden. What she thought were dreams, were not – dreams don’t burn a red X into your back. On September 25, she had another shock to her reality. Another red X was burned into her back and she had a conscious memory of lying on her back on a table unable to move and coming face-to-face with a Grey. She was scared to death. She documents her struggles processing her ET encounters in her book, You Have The Right To Talk To Aliens. “I describe some of my ET Contact, the messages I was given, and how the ETs changed my life for the better. “Coming out” was very hard for me, but it has brought happiness and a deeper connection to my life purpose. Denying the truth about my reality inhibited my spiritually expansion, which did not allow me to express my authenticity.” She now offers help to Experiencers by creating the ET Encounters forum where she encourage Experiencers to share their story with her privately.
