Meeting Re-Cap:
On March 28th, an extraordinary conversation took place in northern Minnesota, featuring Sev Tok, an author, MUFON ERT (Experiencer Resource Team), and a self-proclaimed Experiencer since the age of twelve.
Sev Tok’s experiences as a young woman involved benevolent and malevolent encounters, culminating in physical contact that left two distinct “X” marks on her body. These experiences are detailed in her book, “You Have the Right to Talk to Aliens.”
Sev Tok’s mission is to educate the public about the potential for humankind within our universe. She hosts a podcast titled “UFO & ET 101” and is developing an online course for individuals interested in exploring the UFO/UAP and alien phenomenon. Her newsletter is also available for subscription.
Despite technical challenges, the presentation was slightly shorter than anticipated, but attendees were able to engage in a lively Q&A session with Sev Tok. The discussion was both enlightening and captivating, leaving everyone in attendance with a sense of wonder.

Sev’s Bio:
Sev Tok is an author, ufologist, spiritual counselor, and experiencer advocate known for her work at the intersection of extraterrestrial contact, consciousness, and disclosure.
Born in Istanbul, Turkey, Sev immigrated to the United States as a child and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Loyola University. In 2017, after relocating from Capitol Hill, Washington, D.C. to the Inner Banks of North Carolina, she experienced a life-altering extraterrestrial encounter. While her ET contact began at age 10, Sev publicly came forward in 2018, speaking at AlienCon and releasing her book, You Have the Right to Talk to Aliens, endorsed by renowned UFO researcher Kathleen Marden.
Sev has appeared on History Channel’s Ancient Aliens and The Proof Is Out There, Gaia TV’s Beyond Belief with George Noory, ABC News’ Nightline X, and the Canadian docuseries Encounter: UFO – Physical Contact on T+E TV. She has been interviewed internationally, including on Coast to Coast AM with George Noory, and speaks at conferences worldwide.
She is the former MUFON State Director for North Carolina and served on the Executive Committee of the Experiencer Resource Team. Sev is also a founding member of the Hollywood Disclosure Alliance, a collective of award-winning filmmakers, television professionals, and ufologists dedicated to promoting accuracy in media coverage of UFOs and disclosure.
Sev has a new podcast, UFO & ET 101, offering the basics for UFOs, extraterrestrial intelligence, and the deeper mysteries of the phenomenon. The podcast is available on her YouTube channel, Alien Spirit with Sev, and across major podcast platforms.

Kathleen Marden

A substantial number of attendees gathered on the frigid final day of February 2026, and Kathleen Marden delivered an exceptional presentation.
Kathleen presented a groundbreaking new presentation, which was the first to be shared with the public. Consequently, we cannot provide extensive details, and there will not be a Northland MUFON YouTube video. However, MUFON offers a wealth of information from its extensive archives.
For those unfamiliar with Kathleen, she is the niece of Barney and Betty Hill, the most documented and extensively studied case of abduction in history. The incident occurred in 1961, and Kathleen possesses all relevant documents, clothing, hypnosis tapes, and previously undisclosed information. If you did not attend in person or via Zoom, you missed a significant portion of the presentation.
This writer, who believed they possessed comprehensive knowledge of this case, was pleasantly surprised to discover a wealth of new information. Kathleen meticulously maps out their entire road trip, accompanied by photographs from that era and the current landscape. While Barney expressed a desire to avoid further investigation, Betty exhibited a keen interest and pursued it due to a series of unsettling dreams.

Kathleen’s Bio:
Kathleen Marden is a nationally recognized UFO researcher, author, educator, and lecturer with more than five decades of experience in investigation, research, and public education. She earned her B.A. from the University of New Hampshire and completed graduate studies in education at the University of Cincinnati and the University of New Hampshire. A member of the Alpha Kappa Delta sociology honor society, she spent fifteen years as a professional educator, where she designed and implemented model educational programs, supervised and evaluated instructional staff, and taught adult education courses on UFO history and abduction research.
Marden served for ten years as Director of MUFON’s Field Investigator Training Program and another ten years as Director of MUFON’s Experiencer Research Team, playing a central role in shaping modern investigative standards and experiencer research protocols. She is the recipient of the International UFO Congress Lifetime Achievement Award and currently serves as a MUFON lifetime member, benefactor, and research consultant for the Experiencer Resource Team. She also served on the Advisory Board of the Edgar Mitchell Foundation for Research into Extraterrestrial and Extraordinary Encounters (FREE) and has participated in four major experiencer research studies involving nearly 5,500 participants.
Her connection to the subject is both professional and deeply personal. On September 20, 1961, at the age of thirteen, she received a phone call from her aunt, Betty Hill, reporting that she and her husband Barney had encountered a “flying saucer” the previous night in New Hampshire’s White Mountains. As a firsthand witness to the physical evidence and emotional aftermath of the encounter, Kathleen Marden possesses unparalleled access to the Hills’ personal histories, psychological profiles, and never-before-published archival materials related to the first scientifically investigated UFO abduction case in U.S. history.
Following Betty Hill’s death in 2004, Marden compiled two permanent archival collections for the Milne Special Collections and Archives Department at the University of New Hampshire Library. These include: The Hills’ Civil Rights Collection, documenting Betty and Barney Hill’s social justice and political activism and The Hills’ UFO Abduction Collection, preserving all primary materials related to their 1961 encounter.
She has conducted extensive research in both physical and digital archives and has engaged in investigative and experimental research across conventional and unconventional domains of UFO studies. Her guiding philosophy remains: “If we do not seek, we will not find.”
Kathleen Marden is the primary author or coauthor of several influential books in the field. Her international bestseller with nuclear physicist and scientific ufologist Stanton T. Friedman, MSc. (1934–2019) is Captured! The Betty and Barney Hill UFO Experience (2nd edition, 2021). They also coauthored Science Was Wrong (published in Chinese) and Fact, Fiction, and Flying Saucers. Her collaboration with Denise Stoner, The Alien Abduction Files, documents six intergenerational experiencer cases. Her fifth book, Extraterrestrial Contact: What to Do When You’ve Been Abducted, is both a comprehensive research volume and a practical self-help guide for experiencers (published in English and French). Her most recent book, Forbidden Knowledge: A Personal Journey from Alien Abduction to Spiritual Transformation, explores consciousness, contact, and personal transformation.

The attendance was exceptional, with a standing room-only crowd. Scott and Janet Wolter’s presentation exceeded our expectations.
Scott Wolter has garnered a global following due to his profound expertise in the forensic analysis of stone. His work has even contributed to the resolution of cases of interest to true crime enthusiasts. Notably, among the thousands of ancient documents he now possesses, there are accounts of unidentified flying objects (UFOs) in the ancient world that were previously unknown.
Scott and his wife, Janet, have authored several books (listed below) that aim to unravel the mysteries of our ancient past and their contemporary implications. Perhaps the most renowned is his forensic analysis of the Kensington Rune Stone, which he has conclusively proven to be authentic. This analysis demonstrates the presence of individuals in North America long before Christopher Columbus’s arrival.
Scott Wolter has acquired 20 books written by Sinclair and Wemyss in Latin, Old English, and Modern English. These books chronicle their global journeys to discover the “Free Templar State” in North America. The books were composed between 1353 A.D. and 1770. Additional documents are anticipated for release this year, which will hold significant historical importance. We eagerly await their unveiling.
The Knights Templar treasure holds immense fascination for numerous individuals, particularly those who adhere to the Mystery of Oak Island. According to Scott, a portion of the treasure was indeed present. The treasure was interred in various locations, with Oak Island being one of them. To ascertain its ultimate destination, one must consult his books. His extensive knowledge was conveyed in a concise two-hour presentation, necessitating the purchase of his books, which many did.

Scott Wolter is a Forensic Geologist who has operated American Petrographic Services Inc., a Material Forensic Laboratory in St. Paul, Minnesota, since 1990. He is a Master Mason, 32-degree Scottish Rite Freemason, a Sir Knight in the York Rite with Zion Commandery #2, a soon to be 8th Grade Frater in the SRCIF, North Dakota College and a member of the Martinist Order. Scott has written six books focused on the theme of “Templars in America“. Scott Hosted four seasons of the History Channel show, America Unearthed and has appeared in several television shows and the popular streaming series, Mysteries of the Knights Templar on Gaia.
